The comments system on mattwilko.com is fairly self-explanatory, but there are a few things that may be different from other websites.

First, your name or screen name stays with you as you post. The first time you post a comment here, your name will be associated with your email address and will be saved.

Your email address is the most important piece of information. It will NEVER be shown to the public. Instead, it is used to identify you as a unique member. When you enter a comment after your first post, simply type your email in and your name will automatically be posted with the comment. This is designed to prevent anyone from pretending to be you when posting comments, since no one else can see your email address. You might think of your email as like your password, it uniquely identifies you but it is a secret.

It is possible to change your name/screen name. Just type the new one in with your email address and it will be changed and updated across the site.

In order to prevent annoyances such as spam bots, ReCAPTCHA is being used to "prove" that you are a human.

Any comments by the author of the post, most likely me, will be highlighted with a red bar on the left.
